It was a company producing automation and electrical protection devices. The company has been on the market for a long time and operates in more than 7 countries around the world. It often happens that a well-established company on the market cannot keep up with the development of modern business. Our client also faced such a story. The processes in the company initially took place almost without the participation of IT technologies: accounting and documentation were kept in printed form; the work of employees and the conducting of transactions for the manager weren’t transparent. The company seemed to be stuck in the 20th century.
Project objectives
We had to: set up a transparent procurement business process; automate the formation, exchange and signing of documents; set up the formation of a procurement schedule; sales department automation; implement a business process for holidays and sick leaves; implement task templates and regular reporting for team leads. We have made the procurement process completely transparent. We also set up the formation of regular reports for the manager so that at any time you can check all procurement transactions for some time.

Implementing task templates
The main goal of implementing task templates in this project was to speed up the approval process for large transactions and operations for calculating bonuses and issuing salaries. We talked to the head of each department to set up the generation of the most convenient reporting for them. Having found out the necessary parameters, we added several additional fields to the cards of transactions, and at the end of the reporting period, Technom collected data from the fields in the cards to generate a report on their basis. We also made the process for holidays and sick days fast.
The results
As a result of cooperation, the client received: transparent procurement process; reduction of the number of balances due to the module for data exchange between production, sales and purchases; acceleration of the work of the sales department; automated workflow and business process for vacations and sick leaves. At this moment, the company has the first formalized and automated business processes, which saves it a huge number of hours of work. A business process was developed that allows you to request and approve sick leave and holidays in 3 clicks.
